An incomplete post medieval copper alloy mount from a sword belt, dating to c. AD 1500-1600. Possibly one of a set of three mounts, it was originally suspended from a plate as part of a sword belt hanger. The mount is foliate in outline with three lobes at each end. The central terminal of the top end is incomplete, due to an old break. It has lost its forward-facing globular ended hook which would have attached it to the main plate. An incomplete medieval copper alloy swivel strap fitting dating to c AD 1100-1500. The object comprises a single sub-circular loop with a flattened section at the base. This flattened section expands in the plane perpendicular to the hoop into an open circular loop, with this flanked by zoomorphic mouldings which grasp the loop between their jaws. An unidentified copper alloy fragment, probably an Early Medieval or Medieval strap fitting, dating to c. AD 1000-1100. The fragment consists of a narrow strip of copper alloy, plano-convex in cross-section, and truncated by an old break at one end and a flaring, fan-shaped terminal at the other. A post medieval copper alloy strap fitting or decorative mount dating to the period c AD 1600-1700. The mount is in the shape of a 'Tudor' rose, with moulded decoration comprising a central pellet surrounded by a ring of five raised petals. On the reverse, are two integrally cast attachment prongs which were inserted through a leather strap and folded over to hold the fitting in place. The reverse of the mount has a number of recesses which match to the raised petals on the front.
