A Medieval copper alloy Tournai jetton of Crown type dating to c AD 1415-1497.  AVE MARIA GRACIA [rosette] X obverse depicting a Royal crown with three annulets or rosettes across the band.   Reverse depicts a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in a 4-arched tressure with V - M (x2) in the external angles.  Cf Mitchiner (1988:222-223) M629-631, 651-664.

A French Shield of France Modern type jetton of Charles VI AD c 1380-1422. Similar to Mitchiner, 1988, p175, no 440 and SF-DED417. However, no direct parallels could be found as the legend on the jetton is fictitious and there are four lis and not three on the shield. Obverse: +TOOTE[] CEBAOA[V]XWOA[V]XEOT - shield of France with four fleur de lis and topped with a crown. A copper-alloy rose and orb jetton of Nuremberg Master Hans Krauwinckel II dating to the period c.AD 1586-1635. Obverse type *HANNS.KRAVWINCKEL.IN.NVR probably depicting three crowns and three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose, all within an inner circle. Reverse type *HEVT.RODT.MORGEN.TODT depicting an Imperial orb surmounted by a cross pattee, within a double stranded trefoil, all within an inner circle. Cf Mitchiner, 1988: no. 1586.
