An incomplete copper alloy Iron Age La Tene III type brooch dating to AD 20-100. The brooch is bent and damaged, the pin and catchplate are missing. The brooch measures 43.5mm in length, 7.2mm maximum width (across the wings), 0.55mm minimum width (foot) and weighs 1.75 grams. The bow is long and slender (3.73mm wide) and narrows to a point. At the top of the brooch, the bow narrows to create a wire which is wound only twice round the top and then starts to extend down the back of the brooch to form the pin but is broken. A copper alloy Roman sprung Dolphin brooch dating to the period AD 43-65. The brooch is incomplete and all that remains are the wings and part of the bow. The wings are semi-circular in profile and are decorated with two (possibly more) vertical incised lines. In the centre of the wings is the start of the bow. Ring Romano-British gold finger ring. plain hoop which expands at the shoulders to a double scalloped 'V' shape, emphasised by incised lines forming an elongated 'V'. The shoulders support an attached oval bezel with a double beaded border. The centre of the bezel is decorated with two clasped right hands (dextrarum iunctio). The ring is somewhat misshapen but is in good condition and does not show signs of a great deal of wear. An almost complete cast copper alloy clock key of post-medieval date. The top of the handle/loop is missing. The key has a double loop handle, the upper, smaller, loop being for suspension. The stem has an oval section and a triple collar beneath the handle. The shank is hollow. The key mechanism is two prongs with a diagonal indentation between the prong and the stem. A copper alloy early post medieval hooked tag Class A, Type 1 dating to c AD 1540-1620. The hooked tag is incomplete as it is missing the hook and the attachment loops are incomplete. The hooked tag is cast in one-piece and has moulded relief and openwork. A copper alloy coin weight for a laurel of James I dating to AD 1603-25. This coin weight is square and is for a laurel which is 20s (£1). It is probably for James I's third coinage which dates to AD 1619-1625. The obverse is worn and depicts a laureate bust with drapery around the neck and facing left. The reverse depicts a crown with XX below and S below that; in the top left hand corner there appears to be a roman numeral one with a crown above.
