A copper-alloy Roman as or dupondius of Sabina (AD 128-137), consort of Hadrian, dating to the period AD 128-137 (Reece period 6). Probably Ceres reverse type depicting Ceres seated left on modius, holding corn ears(?) and torch. Mint of Rome. Cf. RIC II, p. 476, no. 1023. This is a Coin of British Association, as Walker, 1988: p. 293, nos. 3-4, 6-20, pl. XXXIV.

An Iron Age cast copper alloy potin probably a Gallo-Belgic potin of the Suessiones, c.60-20 BC, 'Soissons Eye Boar' type. Obverse may depict a horse but is damaged and unclear. Reverse depicts an oval of pellets with a crescent below one side of the pellets and above a further line of diagonal lines, possily an eye-and-boar motif. Possibly, ABC p 31, no 85.

Three sherds of greyware dating to the Roman period c AD 43-410. Two sherds are rims and one is a bodysherd. One rim and the bodysherd come from a large storage vessel, the rim is beaded and these sherds may be Savernake ware. These two sherds have a rough textured fabric and inclusions of crushed flint, red iron oxide and small sandy or quartz pieces. They are hard fired.
The third sherd is a rim of a small beaded jar. The fabric is a buff white with numerous of black quartz, iron and possibly pieces of grog. The vessel is hard fired.
