An incomplete medieval copper alloy swivel strap fitting dating to c AD 1100-1500. The object comprises a single sub-circular loop with a flattened section at the base. This flattened section expands in the plane perpendicular to the hoop into an open circular loop, with this flanked by zoomorphic mouldings which grasp the loop between their jaws. The apex of the hoop is worn thin through wear. A Roman copper alloy brooch pin, probably from a Colchester-derivative type, probably dating to c. AD 50-175. The pin comprises of a circular sectioned shank, narrowing to a point at one end. At the other end the shank transitions into a hooked lug with a central circular perforation. The overall effect is of an inverted 'L' shaped plan. The pin weighs 1.14g and measures 44.3mm in length, 11.94mm in width and 1.79mm in thickness. cf. Anderson, Wacher & FitzPatrick (2001: 67) nos. 161-162.

A Medieval copper alloy seal matrix dating to AD 1200-1400. The matrix is pedastal shaped, with a sub-circular base tapering into a faceted, hexagonal handle with an incomplete suspension loop at its apex. The base of the matrix is engraved with a squirrel facing right, with an illegible inscription engraved in retrograde around the exterior edge, the edges being highly abraded. A post medieval copper alloy seal top spoon fragment dating to c AD 1550-1650. The spoon is incomplete and all that remains is part of the handle and its terminal. The terminal comprises of a flat disc, on a plane perpendicular to the length of the handle, surmounting a sub-spherical moulding with a transverse moulded collar below, forming a debased balluster. The seal matrix comprises a handle with a small trefoil shaped loop at the top which is set onto a hexagonal shaped stem with two incised lines and ribs. The stem then extends into a hexagonal handle which flares out to the edge of the flat bottomed base with the incised design of the seal.
