A post medieval copper alloy Nuremberg 'Rose/orb' jetton of Hans Krauwinckel II dating to AD 1586-1635. The jetton is damaged and almost half is missing. HANNS KRAVWINCKEL IN NVR obverse depicting three crowns alternately with three lis arranged centrifugally around a central rose with eight oval petals. GOTES SEGEN MACHT REICHT reverse depicting an imperial orb surmounted by a cross patty with in a tressure with three main arches. Trefoil stops. Reverse type depicts a triple stranded sstraight cross fleuretty within a 4-arched tressure with A V E M around. A copper alloy jetton probably dating to the time of Philip VI (AD 1328-1350). + AVE MARIA GRACIA PLE obverse type depicting a crowned king seated facing on a seat without back rest and holding a sceptre in his right hand and resting his left hand. There are leafy sprays in the the fields to the right and left. + AVE MARIA GRACIA PLEN reverse type depicting a triple stranded straight cross fleuretty in a 4-arched tressure. A copper alloy medieval french jetton dating to period c 1461-1497. Issued in Paris in late 15th century. Four fleur de lis in a lozenge surrounded by a quatrefoil edged with two lines and three pellets between each arch. GETTES BIEN PAIES BIEN reverse type depicting a cross pattee feuilly type with open florets on each finial and leaves with three pellets between. (Possibly similar Mitchiner 1988, p208 no 593.)
