A medieval silver penny of Edward I dating to AD 1306-1307 (Class 10cf2). EDWA R ANGL DNS hYB obverse depicting a crowned bust facing, the crown does not have tips to the spears. CIVITAS CANTOR reverse depicting a long cross with three pellets in each quarter. Initial mark is a plain cross. Mint of Canterbury. North 1041 (North, JJ, 1991, English Hammered Coinage Volume 2, Spink & Son, London p 32, no 1041).
