A Post-Medieval copper-alloy livery button, dating to AD 1820 - 1900. It measures 16.4mm in diameter and is slightly convex with a soldered copper wire loop at the rear. The design on the front is of a bird, probably a thrush, facing left and standing on a snail, with a snail or worm hanging from its mouth. Beneath the snail is a raised rope line and under this there appears to be lettering, possibly a motto. The motif is enclosed within a raised circle. There is evidence of gilding. The back is marked with SUPER FINE [FIRST] QUALITY encircling the loop.

A copper alloy post medieval medal dating to AD 1887. VICTORIA JUBILEE 1887 obverse depicts a crowned bust of Queen Victoria. FRED GRIFFIN MAYOR reverse depicting the coat of arms of Salisbury with a shield suspended from foliage with eight horizontal stripes and a double headed eagle as supporters on either side of the shield. The medal has a hole pierced through the top.

A copper alloy military button of 12th (The Prince of Wales's) Regiment of (Light) Dragoon (Lancers) dating to c AD 1822-1832. The front of the button is convex and depicts crossed lances with pennants and the number 12 in the centre. The back of the button is concave with a circular loop attached in the centre and E JONES CORK HILL round the inside edge. The maker was based in Dublin and traded as E Jones from AD 1822-1832. A modern copper alloy pipe tamper dating to c AD 1780-1920. The pipe tamper depicts a bust on top of a pedestal. There is a nautical theme to the decoration on the pipe tamper and this suggests that the bust may depict Admiral Lord Nelson (before losing his eye and arm). The hairstyle with the hair brushed back from the forehead, rolls on either side of the head and a pigtail is typical of late eighteenth-early nineteenth century hairstyles. A modern slate pencil dating to c AD 1850-1900. The pencil comprises a turned slate rod with a circular section. It has been sharpened to a rounded end at one end and at the other the end has a been cut into a diagonal profile and appears to have been used as well as the rounded end.The longitudinal lines probably represent the bedding planes of the slate. The brown colour is staining from the sandy local soils. This would be a common item of nineteenth century schoolroom equipment.

A post medieval to modern copper-alloy anthropomorphic pipe tamper. The main body is cast in the form of a male figure standing with one leg bent and arms akimbo, wearing trousers, jacket, neckerchief and hat, possibly representing a farm labourer. The figure is standing on a circular plinth (12.27mm high) which curves in to a 'waist' and out to form the base of the object. The base is slightly convex and circular, to facilitate pressing tobacco into a pipe. Cf DEV--CDEB13.

A silver seal matrix made by Hester Bateman and dating to the period 1760-1790 depicting the and crest of the Blachford family. The seal matrix is oval in shape with a shield of three fess wavy gules, three pheons azure to chief with a swan above and trailing leaves and flowers on either side of the shield.
