A medieval silver long cross penny probably of Henry VII (AD 1485-1509), dating to  AD 1485-1490.  Obverse reads HENRIC DI GRA REX ANGL  and depicts a crowned bust facing with crosses on either side of the neck.  One of the crosses beside the neck has one of the arms missing as a result of a circular impression on the arm (there are other similar circular impressions on the coin most notably at the lower ends of the hair to either side of the bust. Mint of London.  The initial mark is probably a lis and rose. cf North (1991) vol 2, p 102, no 1718…

A medieval to post medieval copper alloy coin weight for a ryal dating to AD1400-1600.  The coin weight is uniface with a ship with the king standing with a sword and shield in the ship which has a rose on the side (this type of coin weight is also known as a Rosenobel).  The coin weight may have been struck in the Low Countries or in England by a maker from the Low Countries.  See Withers (2011) p 24.

A medieval pottery rim sherd of Laverstock type ware dating to c 1200-1350.  The sherd  formed part of the rim of a large jar.  The rim measures 32.54mm across.  It has been pale fired and oxidised and the inner fabric is a slightly pinky orange colour with the outer fabric a buff white with a pale olive green glaze on the inner surface and on the rim.  The glaze is covered in tiny reddish brown spots.   There are a few reddish brown and sandy inclusions.

A medieval pottery sherd of Laverstock type fineware dating to c 1200-1350.  The sherd has been pale fired and oxidised and is a buff, pinky orange with a khaki-green glaze on one side and some fragmentary evidence of a similar colour glaze on the other side.  The glaze is uneven and the striations of combing are evident.  There are a few sandy inclusions and evidence of organic inclusions.
