A post medieval lead alloy uniface token dating to the 17th century. The token is decorated with the initials H and R, the R being in retrograde. There is a + symbol above each letter and beneath there appears to be the number 16[---]. This might suggest the token is 17th century in date. The numbers are difficult to read due to damage along the edge of the token, so it is difficult to tell whether the R has been purposefully stamped in retrograde or whether it is a flaw in the carving of the mould.
