Incomplete Medieval copper alloy knife handle, dating to AD 1400-1500. The handle is bent out of shape with two sides missing completely but would have most likely been hexangonal in shape. At one end is a raised collar running around the rim of the object. At the opposite end, there is a nodule protruding from the socket. This is either a casting sprue or remnants of a loop. It has an uneven covering of green patina and is otherwise mid-brown in colour. Similar knife handles are recorded on the database, although these are decorated with iconographic designs LVPL-A3EBD8, HAMP-B529…

Incomplete Medieval copper alloy annular buckle, dating AD 1200-1400. It is circular in shape with no decoration. On one side, where the patina is thicker and rougher, a notch for the pin to lay is visible. The pin would have been separate and is now missing. Incomplete tin alloy cuff link with double heart and crown decoration. Single disk that has been pressed into shape, flanged edge with a connection loop that has been soldered on to the back. Elements of the design are visible on the reverse where it has been impressed from behind. The double heart and crown motif may be associated with the marriage of Charles II to Catharine of Braganza in AD 1662, though it remained in use for sometime afterwards as a popular symbol of marriage. Incomplete copper alloy strap fitting dating to the Post Medieval period. It is rectangular in shape with two rectangular protrusions at each end. The protrusions have been broken and remains of iron rivets are visible. The front face is decorated with two ovals, each with a dot in the centre, giving the illusion of a pair of eyes. It is corroded and covered in a green patina with rusting around the iron rivets. It is 7.07 grams, 24.48mm length, 9.88mm width, 2.49mm thickness The object is similar to LON-D43EEC on the database.
