Object type: UNIDENTIFIED OBJECT
Broad period: UNKNOWN
County: Greater London Authority
Workflow stage: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation
A copper alloy tube of unknown date. The item is made from a single sheet of copper alloy that had been rolled to form a cylindrical tube. Both ends are distorted and do not match their original shape, one being pinched, the other being open (with part broken off). It is likely that the ends were cut, as the break at the pinched end is clean and part of the open end is also clean. It is difficult to judge what this object was without further information. Dimensions: length: 110.93 mm; diameter: 6.36 mm; weight: 9.00 g.
