A Roman ceramic body sherd from a vessel dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The fabrc is a reduced light grey colour with a some mottled red oxidisation on both surfaces. It has a soft, slightly laminar texture and exhibits abundant fine sand temper and some mica inclusions. The sherd is heavily abraded, with old beaks on all edges.

A Roman ceramic vessel sherd dating to the period c. AD 260 - 410. The sherd is a base sherd, probably from a beaker. The fabric is grey brown and has been sandwich fired with bands of reduced grey and oxidised red running through the sherd visible at an old break. The fabric has abundant sand temper, with occasional mica incusions. The form and fabric suggest that the sherd may be a New Forest greyware, however, Fulford (1975, p. 85) notes the difficulty of distinguishing New Forest greyware from those of other kilns.

A ceramic sherd from a Roman vessel dating to the period c. AD 250 - 410. The fabric is heavily abraded but appears to be Black Burnished ware south-west variant (fabric 1b). It is dark grey in colour with a patch of oxidisation on the inner surface. It exhibits abundant fine sand temper. The sherd is a handle, probably from a Type 21 "Fish-dish".

Eight ceramic sherds from Roman Oxfordshire red/brown slipped ware vessels dating to the period c. AD 240 - 410. The assemblage consists of four rim sherds, three body sherds and one handle sherd. The fabric is hard with a fine, slightly laminar texture. It is orange in colour, with some pieces exhibiting a reduced grey core and has abundant fine, sub-angular iron ore inclusions set in a micaceous matrix. All sherds are heavily abraded, with some retaining traces of an abraded red/brown slip. One piece also retains traces of white slip decoration.

Four body sherds from Roman Oxfordshire red/brown slippped ware mortaria dating to the period c. AD 240 - 410. The fabric is hard with a fine, slightly laminar texture. It is orange in colour and has abundant fine, sub-angular iron ore inclusions set in a micaceous matrix. The exterior surface retains traces of a red slip which has deteriorated and become abraded. The interior surface of both sherds exhibit pink quartz trituration grits. All four sherds are heavily abraded.

Three sherds form Roman Samian ware vessels dating to the period c. AD 100 - 260. There are two body sherds and one base sherd. The two body sherds have a pinky-orange fabric with mica and occasional chalk inclusions. They are coated in a glossy orange-red slip. The base sherd has a dark red fabric with occasional chalk inclusions and is coated in a glossy dark orange-red slip. All three sheds are heavily abraded.

The fabric is a buff colour with a reduced light grey core. It has a fine, sandy texture. It has been coated on both surfaces with a purple/brown slip (Fulford's Fabric 1a).

12 ceramic vessel sherds from Roman Black Burnished ware vessels dating to the period c. AD 43 - 410. The assemblage consists of 8 rim sherds, 3 body sherds and 1 base sherd. Of the rim sherds, 4 are flanged, 3 are everted and 1 is plain.
The fabric is a reduced black shading to dark grey in colour, with some sherds exhibiting oxidised buff or pinkish-orange patches. It has abundant translucent rounded quartz, occasional iron and flint and very occasional shale temper. 4 of the sherds exhibit evidence of burnishing on the exterior surface.

A copper alloy zoomorphic or anthropomorphic buckle dating to the period c. AD 1200 - 1450. The buckle has an integral plate which forms an openwork keyhole-shaped frame, wide and rounded at the terminal and then tapering into a rectangular area ending at the pin slot. At the point at which the plate narrows it feature a small knop on either side. The copper-alloy pin survives.

An incomplete copper alloy post medieval scabbard chape dating to the period c. AD 1540-1700. The chape is sub-triangular in plan and is formed from a rolled sheet of copper alloy terminating in a rounded knopped terminal, creating a cone shaped cavity. The obverse exhibits two circular perforations near the top of the chape, both of which are c. 1mm in diameter. The reverse exhibits three more perforations of similar size, one of which is directly opposite one of the perforations on the obverse. A rim sherd from a Roman ceramic, probably Oxfordshire ware mortarium dating to the period c. AD 100 - 410. The fabric is buff orange in colour and sandy in texture with red grog inclusions visible throughout the fabric and brown, grey and translucent irregularly shaped trituration grits visible on the inner surface. The rim is 10.93mm thick and carries a prominent hooked flange, indicating a possible early date. The flange is 37.54mm thick. The sherd has a gently convex profile.
