An unidentified cast copper alloy and iron object of uncertain date and function. It weighs 14.87g. and the shaft is 2.108mm long, with a diameter of 0.259mm. The lower broken end is 0.4mm diameter and expands out from the shaft with a molded design. 0.240mm up the shaft widens to 0.369mm, this 0.466mm long quatrefoil (cross section) bulge is collared at both ends. From the upper collar to the 0.402mm quatrefoil (cross section) terminal is 0.3mm. There is iron staining on one side of the of the object and on the broken end. A medieval to post medieval leather strap with eight copper alloy round mounts with integral rivets and separate roves. The strap is made from thick leather with a row of copper alloy mounts (c.12.0mm dia. ). Each mount has an integral rivet, which can be seen on the other outer face of the strap, projecting through a corresponding rove (c. 14.61mm dia). A hand mande copper-alloy object of uncertain date and use. Description: The object survives as a circular disc. The disc is very thin and worn. The face is decorated in low relief, with a stem with three circular lobes, in a triangular formation. Each lobe has a large V within it (point to the rim). The stem is placed centrally on a line crossing from side to side, placed just above a hole. The reverse is flat and undecorated. There are three drilled holes evenly spaced around the outer edge. Measurement: Diameter: 33.72mm, thickness: 1.16mm, weight: 5.53g.
