An incomplete and worn Roman (1st century AD) T-shaped copper-alloy brooch.
It has a cylindrical crossbar which has a central slot on the reverse, the pin is missing. The wings are undecorated. The bow protrudes from the centre of the cross bar and is slightly hump-like and is sub-triangular in section and in profile it is slightly curved.. There is a slight vertical ridge extending from the central slot down the bow 5.28mm. As the bow narrows there is an empty recess.
