An incomplete cast zoomorphic copper-alloy clasp of Medieval date, c. AD 1350-1450, .
Description: The sub-rectangular frame has the remains of the pivoting sheet end plate wrapped around the back bar. There appears to be no provision for a pin, while the undersides of the frame's side edges are recessed to accommodate the strap. The front of the frame is flat and 5.5mm in depth, with a small protrusion extending inwards from the forward pointing spike (length:5.57mm). The frame probably had zoomorphic decoration of a bird, but is now very badly worn.

An incomplete Post Medieval (AD 1550-1650) cast copper alloy trefoil shaped dress fastening hook.
Description: The fastening is cast in one piece with moulded relief and openwork to create a trefoil shaped knot which appears to be undecorated. Two rounded knop decorate the join between the rectangular attachment loop and the trefoil knot. There is a very short length of the elongated hook remaining. Read Class E Type 5.

A complete Medieval (c AD 1150 - 1400) cast copper alloy rotary casket key.
The key has a circular bow, flattened shank and simple formed from a narrowed rectangular extension of the shank. The shank projects past the the bit and narrows to a blunted point. The key is patinated light green typical of patinated copper-alloy.

A very thin incomplete copper-alloy Roman (AD 43-60) rear-hook Colchester derivative brooch.
The historic break is across the coil and wings , leaving residual fragments. the rearhook survies as a small stub. The bow is very thin and archaed creating a comma shape and is circular in cross-section and tapers to a pointed and flattened foot. Catchplate remains as a small stub. It is a dark brown colour.
