An incomplete pair of Roman (AD43 - 410) copper alloy tweezers  Description: The tweezers are made from a single strip of copper alloy folded over on itself, with a defined loop to the top to form a sprung end to the tweezers. From the fold the arms are sub-rectangular in shape and rectangular in cross-section. One arm terminates at an historic break, while the other has damage at the blade. They appear to be undecorated. The tweezers have a dark green patina..
