Medieval copper alloy horse harness pendant (c AD1200-1400). The pendant is quatrefoil in plan with an incomplete transverse suspension loop. The face of the pendant contains blue enamel and depicts a griffin facing left. The object has a dark green patina. A similar example can be see on the database NMS-4C7911.

Copper-alloy finger-ring, probably Roman to early Medieval in date. It consists of a strip of metal which is wound round to create a spiral, only a quarter of which overlaps. The spiral is loose and some of the ring may be missing. The object is worn leaving a mid green to greyish patina. On the flat side of one terminal is a small circular depression. Other examples of spiral rings date from the Iron Age to Medieval periods.

Copper alloy zoomorphic strap end, Anglo Saxon in date (c AD 800-900). The strap end is of the banded type (see Haldenby 1998, Group 17), with a narrow body tapering to a zoomorphic tip and widening at the opposing end to accommodate two rivet holes. The body has banded incised decoration. The reverse is plain and the top of the strap is bent. The object has a mid green patina.

A copper alloy Middle/ Late Early-Medieval (800-1000) strap end, Class A type 5 (Thomas 2003). The strap end is sub oval in plan with a zoomorphic terminal. The upper plate is divided into two long depressed panels with two triangles below, just above the head terminal. It has silver enamelling. There are two rivet holes at the top of the strap end. The back is plain. It has a dark green patina.

Copper alloy strap end (c AD 750-1100). The strap end is sub-rectangular in plan and is broken at the attachment end. It is a class A, type 1 Trewhiddle style (Thomas 2003) with a decorated panel containing a snake/serpent forming an S shape surrounded by a border. The terminal contains a zoomorphic head. There are traces of white enamel on the panel. The reverse has the remains of an iron attachment which would have been a lug or hook when complete. The object has a dark green patina.
