The repair does not have any remnants of the pottery and so the date cannot be refined further. The repair comprises of a thin disk (maximum diameter 13.68mm) with an attached shaft. A small sherd from a Post Medieval (AD1600-1700) stoneware jug, probably a German Belamine jug. Part of the design border is present but too little survives to identify the design any further. The outer surface is covered in an iron-rich salt glaze producing a textured mottled brown effect. The fabric is hard fired and light grey in colour. The inner surface has shallow grooves confirming that the vessel was wheel-thrown. Dimensions: 36.63mm x 42.59mm x 7.74mm. Weight is 18.0g
