A complete cast copper alloy ring of uncertain date. The ring is possibly Medieval in date as it was retrieved along side other Medieval objects dating to circa AD1200-1400. The ring has a sub-rectangular section. The surfaces of the ring have an even dark brown patina. The use of the ring is uncertain. A gold fragment of parallel sided strip or ribbon. The ribbon is rectangular in plan and made from a sheet of gold. One side of the ribbon is decorated with four regular, longitudinal, incised grooves. The other side of the ribbon is plain with some light scratches. The ribbon is slightly contorted indicating that the ribbon may have been folded and then un-folded. The damage is not new. One end has a neat, flat-ended terminal with sharp 90 degree corners implying the original finish. The cross section is irregular. The front of the plaque has a moulded floral decoration. The reverse is flat and undecorated. An incomplete fragment of a clay tobacco pipe bowl dating to the late Post Medieval period, circa 1640 - 1670. The pipe bowl is comparable to David Atkinson's Broseley Type 1B (Atkinson:1975, p24, fig 1). The overall shape of the bowl is elongated with a bulge at the centre. The bowl has a circular flat heel with a stamped initial mark. The initial mark is circular with lines radiating from the centre.
