A silver hammered groat from the first reign of Edward IV (1461-1470). The coin is from the Light Coinage period (1464/5-1470), Standard Type F, North no 1567. The mint is London. The obverse shows a forward facing, crowned bust with a quatrefoil on either side of the neck within a tressure of arches. The obverse legend reads EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC. The reverse shows a solid long cross with four pellets in one quadrant and three pellets in the other quadrants. A cast copper alloy coin weight for a silver halfcrown produced during the Civil War, 1642-1651. The obverse of the circular weight shows a crown above with a large 'C' below. The obverse is worn but 'XXX' is just discernable to the left of the 'C'. An 'A', 'D' and four fleur de lis are also present in the field. The reverse shows a crown above with an 'R' below. A complete struck Iron Age stater, dating circa 50-30BC. Both sides of the coin are tarnished and the obverse is worn. Metal content is uncertain, but probably silver. Icenian stater, Early Uninscribed J, 'Norfolk Wolf' type. A stater with a similar reverse is recorded in Hobbs:1996, plate 12, no 276, showing a wolf facing left with a crescent and pellets above. The obverse is too worn to discern. Dimensions: Diameter is 17.42mm. Thickness is 2.45mm. The coin weighs 4.2g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy bow and fantail Roman brooch, circa AD50-150. The pin and part of the catchplate are missing but the rest of the brooch survives. At the head of the brooch, the wings comprise of a rolled casing holding the axis bar for the hinged pin. The axis bar is fixed by lead solder on tip of each wing. A late Iron Age to early Roman cast copper alloy centre-looped cosmetic mortar. The loop is broken and the object is slightly bent out of shape. The damage is not new. The object comprises of a long, narrow grooved dish which terminates on either end with a blunt point. The mortar has a U-shaped cross section. On the inside of the dish, the surface is smooth and polished suggesting wear through use. The outside of the dish is abraded and pitted. There is an integrally cast circular loop projecting from the centre of the underside which is 9.54mm x 3.82mm at the join with the dish.
