An incomplete silver hammered halfgroat of Henry VIII (1509-47). Approximately 65% of the coin survives. The coin belongs to the second coinage dating 1526-1544. North no 1802. The mint is Canterbury. The obverse shows a crowned bust facing right. The obverse legend reads [HENRIC] VIII DI GRA AG[LZ FRA]. The reverse is a long cross fourchee over a royal shield. A cross patonce is next to the shield. Reverse legend reads CIVI[TAS CANT]OR. Diameter: 17.75mm. Thickness: 0.88mm. Weight: 0.9g. Die axis: 6 o'clock.

The obverse shows a crowned bust facing left with 2 pellets behind the head. Obverse legend reads E D G ROSA [SINE SPI]NA. The reverse legend reads CIVITAS [LONDO]N. The reverse shows a square shield on a cross fourchee.
Diameter: 15.37mm. Thickness: 0.43mm. Weight: 0.6g. Die axis: 6 o'clock.
