The obverse shows a forward facing, crowned bust with a quatrefoil on either side of the neck within a tressure of arches. The obverse legend reads EDWARD DI GRA REX ANGL Z FRANC. The reverse shows a solid long cross with four pellets in one quadrant and three pellets in the other quadrants. An incomplete cast copper alloy bow and fantail Roman brooch, circa AD50-150. The pin and part of the catchplate are missing but the rest of the brooch survives. At the head of the brooch, the wings comprise of a rolled casing holding the axis bar for the hinged pin. The axis bar is fixed by lead solder on tip of each wing. A late Iron Age to early Roman cast copper alloy centre-looped cosmetic mortar. The loop is broken and the object is slightly bent out of shape. The damage is not new. The object comprises of a long, narrow grooved dish which terminates on either end with a blunt point. The mortar has a U-shaped cross section. On the inside of the dish, the surface is smooth and polished suggesting wear through use. The outside of the dish is abraded and pitted. There is an integrally cast circular loop projecting from the centre of the underside which is 9.54mm x 3.82mm at the join with the dish. …

An incomplete Post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical 'crotal' bell, circa 1650-1850. Just under 50% of the bell survives. The bell has a central horizontal casting seam. The upper hemisphere is plain. The lower hemisphere has the remains of an originally circular sound hole along the break. The lower part of the bell has a simple decoration of incised lines forming a cross with circles radiating out around the cross. The maximum diameter (around the casting seam) is 34.03mm. The height of the bell is 29.34mm. The weight is 23.6g but this includes compacted soil on the inside of the bell.

An incomplete Polen Hill copper alloy sprung bow brooch dating to the Roman period, dating circa AD75-175. The bow is slightly cracked and bent, the pin and some of the catchplate are missing. The wings of the brooch have distinctive disk terminals. The exterior of the wings have an incised banded design with diagonal lines within the bands. A cast copper alloy double-looped spectacle buckle dating from the late Medieval period to the early Post Medieval period, circa 1350-1650. The pin is missing, but the buckle frame is complete and in fair condition. In plan, the outside edges of the frame at the widest section of the loops are slightly pointed, but otherwise the buckle is plain and undecorated.
