A probable vessel repair (pot mend) made of cast copper alloy. The date is uncertain but probably dates from the Medieval to Post Medieval period, circa 1450 to 1650. The repair does not have any remnants of the pottery and so the date cannot be refined further. The repair comprises of a thin disk (maximum diameter 13.68mm) with an attached shaft. The repair has a green/light brown patina. There are patches of white chalk residue on the repair. Dimensions: 23.58mm x 12.87mm x 6.10mm. Weight: 4.38g.

An incomplete, copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman Colchester brooch, circa 25-65 AD. The spring, bow, catch plate and tip of the foot are missing due to old damage. The head of the brooch has wings with a short, flat-sided crossbar with two hooks. The upper hook is rearward facing, creating a tear-drop shaped aperture with the top of the bow. An incomplete Post Medieval cast copper-alloy, double-looped, sub-annular buckle (c.1650-1720). The pin is missing. The frame is oval in plan, convex at the front and bevelled at the rear. The outer edge of one side of the frame is blunted. The damage is not new. The frame has a dark green patina. The buckle has a central bar creating two 'D'-shaped loops of roughly equal size and form. A complete Post-Medieval copper-alloy spherical 'crotal' bell (1650-1850 in date). The bell has been cast in one piece with an integral suspension loop. The loop is sub-square in plan view with tapering sides. The loop hole is blocked by corrosion but was probably circular. The bell has a central casting seam which is clearly visible but almost flush with the sides of the bell. The upper hemisphere is plain.
