A complete struck / hammered silver sixpence of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603), dating to 1561, minted as part of the second coinage between AD1561-1565. POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV reverse depicted a square shield on a long cross fourchee dividing the legend, date above the shield. North no 1997.

A clipped struck silver sixpence of Charles I (1625-1649). Approximately 90% of the coin survives. The initial mark is missing. The coin has a Group E bust and therefore the initial marks could only have been a tun, anchor or triangle dating the coin to 1636-1640. Mint is Aberystwyth. The obverse shows a crowned bust facing left with VI behind. Obverse legend reads [CAROLVS D]G MA BR]I FR] ET HI R[EX]. The reverse legend reads [CH]RISTO AVSPICE R[EGNO]. Reverse shows a square shield over a cross pattee moline.

A complete silver milled sixpence of William III (1694-1702). The coin is dated 1697. Mint not known. The obverse shows a laureate and draped bust facing right. Obverse legend reads GVLIELMVS III DEI GRA. The reverse shows a central circle containing the lion of Nassau with four shields arranged around which together form a cruciform shape. The shields contain a harp, one lion rampant, three lions passant and three fleurs-de-lis. Reverse legend reads MAG BR FRA ET HIB REX. Diameter: 20.84mm. Thickness: 1.02mm. Weight: 2.7g. Die axis: 6 o' clock.

The initial mark is an 'A' confirming that the coin was minted in 1583-85. The reverse shows a square shield on a long cross fourchee dividing the legend. Reverse legend reads POSVI [DEV AD]IVTOREM MEV. Diameter: 25.18mm. Thickness: 0.53mm. Weight: 2.5g. Die axis: 7 o'clock.

A complete but worn silver sixpence of William III (1694-1702). The coin has been bent twice and has an irregular 'S'-shaped profile, indicating that the coin has been turned into a 'love token'. Obverse shows a worn laureate bust right. Obverse legend read [GV]LIEL[MVS] III DEI GRA. Reverse shows four crowned single shields arranged as a cross with a lion rampant at the centre.
