An incomplete cast pewter (white metal) spoon dating from the late Medieval to Post Medieval periods, circa AD1500-1700. A fragment of the bowl survives as a result of old breaks. The spoon fragment is irregular in plan with two opposing rounded edges of the spoon bowl surviving and ragged breaks to the other sides. The spoon bowl is concave in section. The surfaces of the spoon bowl are plain and undecorated with an uneven light / mid green patina. The surfaces are worn as a result of movement in the plough soil.
