A complete struck Iron Age stater, dating circa 50-30BC. Both sides of the coin are tarnished and the obverse is worn. Metal content is uncertain, but probably silver. Icenian stater, Early Uninscribed J, 'Norfolk Wolf' type. A stater with a similar reverse is recorded in Hobbs:1996, plate 12, no 276, showing a wolf facing left with a crescent and pellets above. The obverse is too worn to discern. Dimensions: Diameter is 17.42mm. Thickness is 2.45mm. The coin weighs 4.2g.

An incomplete, copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman Colchester brooch, circa 25-65 AD. The spring, bow, catch plate and tip of the foot are missing due to old damage. The head of the brooch has wings with a short, flat-sided crossbar with two hooks. The upper hook is rearward facing, creating a tear-drop shaped aperture with the top of the bow. A cast copper alloy late Iron Age to early Roman strap fitting or slide. The strap fitting is incomplete with the attachment missing. The strap fitting is composed of 2 'eye' forms (characteristic of the Iron Age) which create a double-lozenge shape in plan view. The 'eyes' take the form of prominent domes within a sunken circular field. The diameter of each 'eye' is approximately 8.3mm. The outside edge of both 'eyes' tapers to a point. Two fragments of a terret which together form a complete harness ring. The highly decorated, cast copper alloy flat-ring terret dates to the late Iron Age period, circa 50BC - AD50. The larger fragment, which comprises approximately 60% of the complete object, was found first. The smaller fragment was found some weeks later by a different finder, but from the same location. The break is not new and both fragments of the terret have suffered similar damage.
