An incomplete silver struck penny of Edward I (1272-1307). The coin is worn, particularly on the obverse and some of the circumference of the coin is missing. The coin belongs to Class 10ab and dates 1300-1305. The mint is London. The obverse shows a forward facing crowned bust. Obverse legend reads [EDWAR R ANG]L DNS HYB. The reverse shows a solid long cross with three pellets in each quadrant. Reverse legend reads [CI]VI/TAS/LON/DON.
Diameter: 19.53mm. Thickness: 0.54mm. Weight: 1.2g. Die axis: 11 o'clock.
