A silver siliqua of Valentinian I dating to the period AD364-375 (Reece Period 19). RESTITVTOR REIP reverse type depicting the Emperor standing facing with head right, holding Victory on globe in right hand and standard with hook on staff in left hand . Mint is Lyon. Obverse shows pearl-diademed, draped and cuirassed bust right. Obverse legend: DN VALENTINIANVS PF AVG. See RIC IX, p.43, no.6b. Diameter: 17.99mm. Thickness: 0.85mm. Weight: 1.65g. Die axis: 6 o'clock.
