A complete ceramic bead probably dating to the Roman period, circa AD50-400. The bead is broadly spherical with both sides flattening around the perforation. The bead is an even light yellow / white colour. It has a centrally located longitudinal perforation with parallel sides. The perforation has an approximate diameter of 3.2mm. The bead is in good condition with some surface scratches and 1 small chip near the perforation, probably caused by movement in the plough soil. An incomplete cast pewter (white metal) medal commemorating 300 years since the death of Shakespeare, dating it to 1916. Approximately 85% of the coin survives as a result of old breaks. The medal would have originally been circular in plan and rectangular in section. The edges of the medal are now very ragged.
