A complete cast lead alloy plaque or furniture mount of late Medieval to early Post Medieval date, circa AD1400-1700. The plaque is sub rectangular in plan with rounded corners. The cross section is irregular. The front of the plaque has a moulded floral decoration. The reverse is flat and undecorated. There is a circular perforation, possibly a rivet hole, with a diameter of 1.66mm. The plaque has a light brown / yellow colour and an uneven patina. Soil adheres to the surface. Length: 36.00mm. Width: 20.19mm. Thickness: 1.64mm. Weight: 4.67g.
