A complete late Medieval to early Post Medieval floor tile, circa AD1200-1400. The tile is square in plan and rectangular in section. The face of the tile has shallow chips on the top and bottom edges and some abrasion to parts of the raised moulding, a large chip is present on the reverse. Overall the tile is in good condition. The face of the tile has a raised moulded decoration covered with a brown/green translucent glaze which in places has dripped down the sides.
