An incomplete cast copper alloy mount, possibly from a horse harness decoration, dating to the late Post Medieval period, circa AD1600-1700. A stub of an integrally cast spike is present on the reverse at both ends of the mount - 2 spikes in total. The position of the stubs at the extreme ends of the mount suggests that the object may have been a belt or strap slide. A complete cast lead alloy token. The face of the token may have been stamped with an impression taken from a half-groat, which would date the token to the mid 17th century.
