A fragment of a cast copper alloy object of uncertain identification and date. The dark green patina of the object suggests that it is more than 300 years old. The object has an irregular shape in plan view. On the front of the object a central conical form has a narrowed collar above which leads to a larger conical form. Below, is an irregular-shaped broken terminal. The reverse has a rough surface which is broadly flat. There is a central raised area which is either a casting sprue or attachment scar. Length: 37.31mm. Width: 32.81mm. Thickness: 13.78mm. Weight: 22.3g.
