A nearly complete cast copper-alloy Medieval bar mount dating to the 14th century AD. The mount is almost complete as only one of the two separate rivets which would have attached the mount to a strap is missing. The mount is formed of a central circular body, from which two circular terminal lobes extend. A nearly complete but slightly worn Post Medieval cast copper-alloy double looped buckle dating to c. AD 1500-1650. The buckle is incomplete as the pin is missing. The buckle frame is formed of two conjoined ovals in plan pierced by two oval apertures. It has a sub-triangular section resulting from the vertical bevelling at the apertures and the gentle curve of the frame body to the exterior edge; the underside is flat. This object is sub-oval in plan and flat in section and formed from a piece of sheet copper-alloy. Through the centre of the oval is a sub-rectangular aperture which would have held the tang of the knife blade. This plate has been slightly bent at the central aperture, and now retains a mid green colour overall. The buckle is sub-rectangular to trapezoidal in plan with an expanded outer edge, and retains a copper-alloy sheet roller in situ on the exterior edge of the buckle frame. A worn and corroded small copper-alloy buckle plate in two fragments (now adhered together) of probable Medieval date. The plate is rectangular in plan and flat in section, and a single circular aperture for a rivet can be found to the end of each fragment. At the opposing end, two loops are visible; these are sub-rectangular in plan and curved in profile. The buckle plate has broken across the exterior edge of these loops, splitting the plate into two sheet fragments. This small plate is a mid green colour overall.

The possible clasp is formed from a rectangular in plan and flat in section plate, with two small apertures for attachment to one end.
