A worn and corroded Roman copper-alloy nummus of Valentinian I or Valens dating to c. AD 364-378 (Reece Period 19). 'SECVRITAS REIPVBLICAE' reverse with Victory advancing left holding wreath and palm. Arles Mint. This coin has suffered moderate circumferential losses through wear which has removed much of the legend and the front portion of the mint that makes further classification difficult.
