A slightly worn and damaged silver Medieval farthing of Edward I, minted at York dating to c. AD 1279-1307. Withers York mint type 8 with the reverse displaying an unbarred A. This coin has a large flan for a farthing and almost resembles a halfpenny in size.

A very worn and corroded silver Medieval farthing of Edward I (1272-1307). London mint, dating to c. AD 1282-1290. Withers Types 14-19; North Nos. 1054 or 1055.
Due to the wear to this coin it is not possible to further define the class of this farthing, as the 'C' and 'E', (often used in classification) are both obscured, alongside the initial mark and details of the face.
