Medieval copper alloy buckle, probably of 13th or 14th century date The buckle is incomplete (with a surviving length of 25.1mm and a weight of 2.7g) and may be of integral plate type or of two looped type with integral pate. The loop is oval (21.8mm wide) and of sub-triangular section. There is a single decorative moulding where the frame meets the plate. The pin is accommodated within a hole through the plate. The plate is of trapezoidal section (9.7mm wide and 2.4mm thick), with bevelled sides. The buckle plate has broken through a hole (5mm diameter) for attachment to the strap.…

Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Trumpet type and of 1st or 2nd century AD date The brooch is fragmentary and represented by the upper bow and top of the leg only (with a surviving length of 36.3mm, a depth of 15.4mm and a weight of 10.8g). The missing spring was secured around a central perforated lug, the stubs of which are still present.
