Medieval copper alloy annular brooch probably of late 13th to mid 14th century date The annular brooch frame is complete but has a heavily-corroded surface and the pin is fragmentary, with only the loop represented (having a combined weight of 2.1g). The annular frame (with an external diameter of 24.4 - 25.6mm and internal diameter of 15.8mm) is of flat section (with a thickness of 1.5mm). Medieval lead seal matrix, probably of 13th or 14th century date The matrix is incomplete, missing the end of the handle and with some peripheral damage (with a surviving depth of 11.5mm and a weight of 10.9g). The handle is hexagonally faceted (with a width at the break of 5.4 - 5.8mm and 8mm at the rear of the die). The seal die was circular (with a diameter of 24.6mm and a thickness of 2.3 - 3.2mm) but is distorted at the edge. The central device on the die depicts a five-pointed star. Roman copper alloy Polden Hill brooch of flat wing ends type and dated from AD 80-120. The brooch is fragmentary, represented by the head and upper bow only (with a surviving length of 29.1mm, a surviving depth of 9.1mm and a weight of 3.5g). The missing spring was secured between lateral lugs and the chord was tensioned by a lug at the head. Roman copper alloy bow brooch of Colchester derivative, Polden Hill (Mackreth 2011, Part 3, Group 4.e, flat wing ends type) and dated AD 80-120. The brooch is incomplete, missing the spring, catch and foot (with a surviving length of 59.1mm, a depth of 15.3mm and a weight of 8.1g). The missing spring was secured between lateral lugs with the chord tensioned by a lug on the head. Roman copper alloy vessel lid from a jug, probably of 1st century AD date The jug is represented by the lid, which is heavily-corroded with extensive peripheral corrosion (with a surviving length of 36.6mm, a surviving width of 30.2mm and a weight of 12.9g).
