Roman copper alloy enamelled pin The pin is incomplete, missing the end of the shaft (with a surviving length of 19.7mm and a weight of 2.3g). The shaft of the pin is square sectioned, with straight sides converging towards the break (with a 4mm sq. section beneath the head and 2mm sq. at the break). The pin head is circular and domed (with a diameter 10.4mm and a depth of 5mm). The interior of the head contains red enamel (with an internal diameter of 7.1mm). The surface of the copper alloy has a dark green patina and is pitted.

The brooch is fragmentary and is represented by the head only (with a surviving length of 28.3mm, a surviving depth of 11.4mm and a weight of 9.1g).
