The spoon is fragmentary and represented by the top part of the handle (with a surviving length of 50.7mm and a weight of 13.1g). The stem is of D-shaped section with moderately straight sides, widening slightly towards the apex (with a width at the break of 3.8mm and a thickness of 2.6mm, expanding to 5.6mm and 4.8mm respectively beneath the terminal). There is the suggestion of ribbed decoration below the cherub head knop. The cherub head is crudely cast in the round and is worn (with a maximum width of 15.6mm and a thickness of 8.1mm…
