Modern gold finger-ring of 18th century date The finger-ring is of seal type and is complete (with an overall length of 23.4mm, a maximum width of 21.2mm and a weight of 10.7g). The hoop is of D-shaped section, with straight parallel sides (with a width of 3.3mm and a thickness of 1.5mm) and appears elongated, producing an oval internal profile (20.1mm x 18.5mm). The underside of the bezel has rounded facets either side of the centre, one of which is stamped with a trefoil maker's mark.
