Medieval copper alloy harness pendant, probably of later 12th to 14th century date The pendant is complete but corroded and is missing the suspension mount (with a length of 37.1mm and weight of 5.5g). The suspension lug is sub-oval (7.4mm wide and 9.6mm high) with an oval perforation (2.9mm x 2.3mm). The pendant is sub-circular (27 - 28mm in diameter). The surface has been lost from the pendant but remnants survive comprising a border of separate circular rings. Five additional rings within the pendant may have defined a cross.
