Elongated piece of translucent light brown coloured flint with a cream inclusion. Te dorsal face exhibits a single medial ridge running from the proximal to distal edges. The distal edge terminates as a point, with both sides appearing to have been struck, to produce the point. The ventral face is smooth in appearance with no obvious indication of retouch around it edges. This piece could be described as a failed burin, piercer, or tanged tool. Oval piece of flint which has been subject to intense heat, the dorsal face retains approximately 30% cortex covering which is reddish in colour, probably as a result of heat exposure. The flint itself is two tone grey in colour and exhibits faults and fractures throughout its surface. The cortex is smooth to the touch and typical of material associated with beach pebbles.
