A worn copper-alloy sestertius of Commodus (AD 175-192), dating to the period AD 186-189 (Reece period 9). Uncertain reverse type possibly depicting a seated figure left, perhaps Salus feeding a snake rising from an altar. Mint of Rome. Cf. BMC p. 816, no. 617 for the reverse type.
