An incomplete early medieval copper-alloy zoomorphic mount in the form of a bridled bear, possibly from a strap or horse harness, probably dating to the 11th century AD. The mount is in the form of an animal's head and is convex on the front and hollow on the reverse. At the upper edge of the mount are two rounded projections, these are placed in the corners to represent the animal's ears. An incomplete copper-alloy small-long brooch (Early Medieval - Anglo Saxon) The head comprises a central rectangular plate with three sides extended in three flat semi-circular knops; one of the knops is missing. The fourth side extends in the arched bow, which has a D-shaped cross section and tapers towards the end of the catchplate. A copper-alloy strap-end, dating from the Early-Medieval to Medieval periods. At the top of the strap-end is the strap-slot, which comprises two parallel, downward-tapering plates and a central gap. The strap would have been held in place by a rivet which survives in situ, located centrally, a short distance down from the horizontal upper sides of the plates, which it links. A moulded, forward-facing, stylised zoomorphic mask marks the transition between the strap-slot and the sub-oval 'tongue' below. An Early Medieval copper alloy strap end, dating to the period c.AD 750-950. The strap end is broadly tongue shaped in plan, with decoration The plate bears a pelta shaped cell next to the attachment holes with a central bordered panel of interlace ornament which may include the body of a beast. A crudely cast copper alloy buckle of early medieval to medieval origin. The buckle is slightly off-centre with the pin axis bar a few degrees out of line from the centre line of the buckle body. The decoration appears to be zoomorphic with the "beast biting the bar" at either end of the pin axis bar.
