A fragment from a Roman box flue tile dating to AD 43-410. The fragment has evidence of the typical combed decoration on one face. The outer face is undecorated. An base sherd from an incomplete Roman ceramic vessel dating to circa AD 43-410. A Flat base sherd from a Roman greyware vessel showing moderate quartz inclusions. The base of the inside of the vessel has a raised area within a circular ridge. The underneath of the base has clear striations indicating it to be a wheel thrown vessel. It is a dark grey colour on the inner and outer surfaces with a clear pink colour core. The fabric has a soft texture. Basal diameter: 64.18mm; Height: 26.04mm; Thickness: 12.49mm; Weight: 64.1g

A base and body sherd fragment from a Roman South Gaulish Samian ware bowl. Form Dragendorff 37 dating from AD 160-220. The sherd has moulded decoration, consisting of foliatte chevron panels below a line of figures or animals whose complete form is not clear due to post depositional damage. The fragment has a pink fabric and is coated in a red slip on both the inside and outside.  Dimensions: Length: 73.12mm; Width: 58.74mm; Thickness: 10.24mm; Weight: 46.6g.

The bell was spherical in shape, but has a split along the circumferential ridge making it sub spherical, and composed of two hemispherical halves soldered together creating a very slight circumferential ridge. The upper half of the bell has a single small sub-circular shaped sound hole. The upper half of the bell has a single small sub-circular shaped sound hole. Two, once joined fragments, from a length of wooden casket or chest binding dating to the Post Medieval period , c.1700-1900.  The pieces are cast with a plain flat back and designed panel on the front face. The binding is heavy and of dimensions suggesting that it was once binding to a large wooden chest or casket. A lead palm guard of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 -1800. The object is a pointed teardrop/oval shape, flat on one side and domed on the other, with a rounded ends.
