A complete button and loop fastener of Wild Class III (Wild 1970, 138-9) dating to the late first century or the second century AD. The main part of the button and loop fastener is a tear-drop shaped plate with a central raised circle with a groove running around its circumference. The back of this plate is flat and undecorated. From the wider end a shaft projects and then bends at a 90 degree angle to create a triangular attachment on the same plane as the plate.

An incomplete copper-alloy late Roman crossbow brooch dating to c. 350-410 AD. The brooch is cross shaped in plan and there are three onion-shaped knops, one at either end of the wings and also one at the top of the cross. There is a collar next to the knops on the wings and there is also some ribbing details between the collars and the bow. The bow arches away from the head of the brooch and then curves backwards creating a P-shaped profile. Medieval dress fitting of three silver coins. The object is circular in plan and the front of the fitting shows the reverse of a coin. In the centre of the coin is a short cross and in one of the quarters there is a single pellet. The legend is very worn making it difficult to read although it is possible to see the letters DRI. In the section of the fitting it is possible to see three coins and the back of the fitting possibly also shows the reverse of a coin. A complete copper alloy nail cleaner with a swollen blade dating to the Roman period. The suspension loop is 11.72 mm in diameter and half of it is thicker which is where it would have been suspended. The loop narrows and then flares outwards again to create a leaf shape blade. The loop and blade are on the same plane. The blade in turn then tapers and bifurcates at the end. There is a central groove stemming from the bifurcation. There is no decoration on the object. A silver annular brooch without the pin, dating to the 13th or 14th century. The brooch is circular with a diameter of 20.63 mm and is 3.07 mm wide. The brooch is rectangular in section and there is a small space where the metal narrows and the section becomes circular. This is where the pin would have sat although it is now missing. The front of the brooch has an inscription which reads "IESVS : NAZA" with an initial mark of a cross inside a square frame. The reverse is undecorated. A cast copper alloy flanged axe with continuous raised flanges and stop-ridge central rib. The axe dates to the Middle Bronze Age (1500 to 1150 BC) and weighs 165 g and is 119 mm long. The blade of the axe is sub-triangular in plan with convex expanding sides and a convex cutting edge. In profile the blade is sub-triangular with the widest section before the stop ridge. A copper-alloy pin from a disc-on-pin buckle of Redmayne Type A4 ('four rivets' type). The pin has an integral sub-circular panel with four rivet holes, one of which retains a copper-alloy rivet. To one side is a curved projection forming a hook, which would originally have wrapped around the buckle frame; to the other is a straight projection. Compare PUBLIC-819484. These buckles are medieval, perhaps 13th or 14th century.

An incomplete gold medieval finger ring dating to the 12th or 13th centuries AD. The ring has a slender hoop which is D-shaped in profile. There are moulded shoulders attached to an oval bezel which has a square setting although the stone is missing. The bezel, of a type known as a 'pie-dish' bezel, stands proud of the hoop. A similar example can be seen in the Treasure Annual Report 2004, number 171 (2004-T472)

The lunula is in two parts and nearly complete, only missing one of the circular terminals. The object is made of gold and so the precious metal content is more than 10%. The lunula is semi-circular in plan although both parts have been folded. An incomplete silver gilt two piece eyelet of early post-medieval date. The circular front plate has a twisted wire creating an outer border. There are five filigree annulets surrounding a central, raised, circular knop creating a cinquefoil. The back of the plate is flat and has a separate wire hook soldered to it. The wire is bent in the middle to create a main loop which projects beyond the plate. Only one running end remains and this loops back on itself to create a circle. Incomplete, cast, copper-alloy one piece Colchester brooch of the late Iron Age to early Roman period, c. 25-60 AD.The brooch has a subtriangular head, short wings and merges into a tapering bow. There is no footknob. The base of the bow retains the base of the catchplate, now lost.The pin is missing, but it would have been a sprung pin cast integral with the rest of the brooch.
