A complete lead weight of uncertain date but probably later medieval, c. 1300 to 1800. The object is sub-circular in plan and sub-rectangular in section. There is a central, circular perforation through the object which would have been used for suspension. Both surfaces are flat and undecoratied and the object is a pale grey colour. Objects of this type are dated from the Roman to the Medieval periods and change very little due to their functional nature. There are similar examples on the PAS database including HESH-277B38.
