A complete silver halfgroat of Charles I dating to the period 1625-1649. The obverse depicts a left facing crowned bust with XX behind the head. The legend reads CAR.D G MAG BR....HIB R although some of this has been obscured due to wear. The reverse depicts a crowned thistle with the legend IVSTITIA.THRONVM.FIRMAT.

A very worn silver halfgroat probably dating to the reign of Charles I, 1625-1649. The obverse is very worn so there is no detail visible in either the field or the legend. The reverse depicts a quartered oval shield with the letters I A T H R in the legend which are part of the legend "IVSTITIA THRONVM FIRMAT" which was used on coins of Charles I.

A clipped silver half groat of James I (1603-1625) dating to the period AD 1604 to 1619. North Number 2104/2015. The obverse depicts a large crowned rose in the field. Much of the legend is no longer present due to the coin being clipped but it would have read I D G ROSE SINE SPINA and it is possible to read the last A of the legend. The reverse depicts a large crowned thistle and again much of the legend is missing but it would have read TVEATAR VNITA DEVS.
